How often do landlords need an EICR?
Since 2020, landlords in England must have a valid EICR every 5 years (or at change of tenancy). Failure to comply can result in fines up to £30,000.
How long does an EICR take?
A typical 3-bedroom property takes 3–4 hours. Larger or older properties may take longer. We aim to complete same-day wherever possible.
What happens if my property fails the inspection?
We'll provide a detailed report with categorised remedial recommendations. We can carry out all required remedial works ourselves to bring the installation up to standard.
