Do outdoor sockets need to be on an RCD-protected circuit?
Yes. All outdoor sockets must be protected by a 30mA RCD as required by BS 7671. We ensure every installation is fully compliant and safe.
Can you bury cables underground in my garden?
Yes. We use SWA (steel wire armoured) cable for underground runs, buried at the correct depth with cable tiles for protection. Everything is mapped and documented.
Is outdoor electrical work Part P notifiable?
Yes. New outdoor circuits must be notified to your local authority under Part P of the Building Regulations. As registered contractors, we handle all notifications on your behalf.
